Wild Isle

Wild Isle has been a passion project of mine. I designed and built a tropical-themed board game where players move around the board collecting coconuts as they land on action spaces and answering trivia that can either reward them or take coconuts away. Inspired by the playful energy of Mario Party and CandyLand, the game mixes light strategy, luck, and interactive elements between players.

 

I developed a cohesive visual system that includes the game board, game box, color palette, iconography, typography, and a full set of action and trivia cards. The player pieces are six 3D-printed island animals; a sea turtle, monkey, crab, macaw, iguana, and tree frog. The overall design focuses on bright, tropical visuals, clear information hierarchy, and an intuitive layout that supports smooth gameplay for 3–6 players.
