Hello there, and welcome to my portfolio! Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Addison Perez. I am a 22 year old graphic designer newly based in the Greater Seattle Area. I am originally from St. Louis Missouri, and recently received my BFA from the University of Missouri Columbia. Go Tigers!
For me, creativity begins with the Creator. My relationship with God is the foundation of who I am; it shapes my perspective and gives me purpose. The beauty and creativity I see in God's creation inspires me to design work that is thoughtful, intentional, and meaningful.
As for the arts, my love for them started early. My grandmother is a professional artist and has been one of my biggest inspirations. She has taught me everything from drawing and painting to sewing and embroidery; which are just a few of the creative outlets I’ve come to love. Her influence played a huge role in my decision to pursue a career in graphic design.
Aside from design, I love to travel. So far, I’ve been to over 25 states and seven countries; Senegal, England, France, Germany, Mexico, Barbados, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and I plan to add many more to that list.
Music is also very important to me. I’m one of those people who says “I listen to everything,” and I really mean it. My playlists are all over the place with a mix of many different genres and decades of music. If I had to pick my favorite artist of all time, without a doubt, it would be The Weeknd.
